Arts Administration
The Atlanta Opera arts administration internships are designed to connect the learning goals of our interns to hands-on experiences and training in the field of arts administration. Atlanta Opera internships are unpaid, however interns may earn college credit.
The Atlanta Opera strives to make the internship a valuable and meaningful experience for college students and recent graduates. Interns gain a wide range of experience working in each of the company's departments including education, marketing, development, and production. Atlanta Opera interns are also provided with professional development training workshops, networking opportunities, guest speakers, presentations by department heads, and employee discount on Shop Opera merchandise. Interns are accepted for fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Marketing and Communications
The Atlanta Opera Marketing and Communications internships provide experience for college/university students and recent graduates in designing and implementing marketing and communications strategies and messaging. They offer hands-on experience with PR campaign support and the optimization of social media vehicles in publicizing events, performances, and initiatives. They also provide invaluable networking opportunities needed to launch or enhance careers in public relations, marketing, and social media.
