The 2011 Atlanta Opera Ball - Indulge Your Senses (September 17, 2011)

On Saturday, September 17, 2011, The Atlanta Opera hosted nearly 300 guests at The Atlanta Opera Ball: Indulge Your Senses at The St. Regis Atlanta in Buckhead. The Atlanta Opera Ball, chaired by Merry Carlos and Cathy Cooper, and designed by Tony Brewer and Company, honored Walter Huff and The Atlanta Opera Chorus. The evening included a luxury silent and live auction, an elegant dinner, dancing to the music of “The American Flyers,” and a special opera performance. Funds generated from The Atlanta Opera Ball will be used to maintain the exceptional artistic quality of The Atlanta Opera, one of this city’s cultural gems.

High School Opera Institute - Spring Concert (June 5, 2011)

Ethical Themes in Porgy & Bess - Emory Center for Ethics (Feb. 16, 2011)

On Saturday, September 25, over 300 guests at The 2010 Atlanta Opera Ball: Fête de l’Opéra – La vie bohème were transported back in time to 19th-century Paris. The annual ball benefiting The Atlanta Opera was held at the St. Regis - Atlanta. Access the Arts Open House (August 22 and 23, 2010)

The Cobb Energy Centre's three resident companies: The Atlanta Opera, Gas South Broadway Series, and The Atlanta Ballet partnered together for "Access the Arts," allowing patrons to "test drive their seats" at the Cobb Energy Centre on August 22 and 23, 2010. A festive atmosphere, entertainment, tours of the venue, free food and beverage tastings from local area restaurants, and special prize drawings and giveaways were offered at the event!
