There are many ways to make your tax-deductible contribution to The Atlanta Opera.
Payment Plans
Patrons may prefer to make several smaller payments throughout the year instead of one larger single donation. We are happy to offer you an opportunity to use a payment plan for your season subscriptions and donations. Use a credit card, debit card, or bank transfer to make your payments throughout the year.

Stock
Gifts of stock, especially long-term appreciated stock, provide benefits to both The Atlanta Opera and you. The Opera can put your funds to work immediately and you can:
- Give appreciated assets and usually avoid tax on the gain
- Receive the regular charitable income tax deduction if you itemize your taxes.
- Claim a tax deduction for the full market value (rather than the cost value) of your stock if you have owned the securities for more than one year.
Matching Gifts
You can multiply your donation by participating in your (or your spouse's) employer's matching gift program. When you submit a matching gift to the Opera, the employer's gift will increase your benefits. Please check with your employer's HR department to see if they have a matching gifts program.
The Atlanta Opera is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. The Atlanta Opera does not provide tax or legal advice. Always check with your tax advisor on the tax implications of your charitable gifts.
