
Itzik Cohen is a celebrated Israeli actor, filmmaker, and television producer. His career spans over three decades across theater, film, and television. Known for his emotional depth and magnetic stage presence, he brings authenticity and heart to every role. Born in Tel Aviv, Itzik earned his BA in Theater from Tel Aviv University after serving in the IDF. He co-founded the pioneering drag band The Daughters of Pesia in 1995, helping bring drag into the Israeli mainstream. His theater credits include standout roles with the Cameri Theater such as Roger De Bris (The Producers), Edna Turnblad (Hairspray), and Lazar Wolf in the 2008 Israeli production of Fiddler on the Roof. His portrayal of Edna earned him a nomination for Leading Actor at the Israeli Theater Prize Awards. On screen, Itzik gained international acclaim as Captain Gabi Ayub in the hit series Fauda. He also starred in A Matter of Size, earning Best Actor at Israel’s Visitor’s Booth awards and an Ophir nomination. Other notable appearances include The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem, The Women’s Balcony, and Maktub. A finalist on Dancing with the Stars Israel and a fan favorite on The Masked Singer Israel, Itzik continues to captivate audiences with his versatility and passion.
