Engage with a panel of experts as they discuss the many ways in which the beloved Br'er Rabbit stories have been interpreted and presented throughout the years. This collaboration between The Atlanta Opera and the Emory University Center for Ethics, is part of the Ethics & the Arts Initiative. This project is supported by the Georgia Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities and through appropriations from the Georgia General Assembly.

Pre-Opera Talks are held one hour prior to each performance inside the John A. Williams Theatre at the Cobb Energy Centre. Join special guest Donald Sturrock, Golden Ticket librettist and author of Storyteller: The Authorized Biography of Roald Dahl, for a unique behind-the-scenes presentation on The Golden Ticket, followed by a book signing in the lobby.
