The Complete Ring Cycle Comes to Atlanta

In 2023, The Atlanta Opera began a multi-season journey to create and present Wagner’s complete Ring cycle in the American Southeast, a region where the full tetralogy had never been performed by a resident opera company. These productions were also the first new U.S. Ring created since the pandemic.

Over four consecutive seasons, director Tomer Zvulun guided the creation of a unified, visually striking production that weaves together the mythological worlds of gods, heroes and humans across approximately seventeen hours of music. In June 2029, audiences will have two opportunities to experience all four operas as a complete cycle during The Atlanta Opera Ring Festival.

Ring Cycle Pass
