The Atlanta Opera invites you to experience our Final Dress Rehearsal program.

This program gives educators and students an opportunity to engage with in-person operatic performances, and is designed for students in grades 5-12 and showcases a full-length opera with sets, costumes, and orchestra.

2026-27 Final Dress Rehearsals Schedule
Kevin Puts & Mark Campbell’s Silent Night – Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 7pm
Bizet’s Carmen – Thursday, January 28, 2027 at 7pm
Wagner’s The Flying Dutchman  – Thursday, March 11 at 7pm
Puccini’s Tosca – Thursday, April 29 at 7pm

Please note the following:
  • Please review the Final Dress Rehearsal Guidelines for Eligibility & Requesting Tickets before submitting your application.
  • All in-person Final Dress Rehearsals will begin at 7:00 PM on Thursday evenings.
  • Performances are held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - 2800 Cobb Galleria Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30339.
  • *Student groups are required to pay a $100 non-refundable administrative fee per registration. The fee is payable via Check mailed to The Atlanta Opera OR Credit Card over the phone.

The Atlanta Opera 2025-26 Final Dress Rehearsal Program Guidelines for Eligibility & Requesting Tickets

Please carefully review and agree to the guidelines below. Please contact Amy Williams, [email protected] with any questions or concerns before submitting an application.

  1. Reservations are open to all public, charter, private, parochial, and home schools. Grades 5-12.
  2. Colleges and Universities are not applicable. Please contact [email protected] for advanced rush tickets.
  3. Space is limited and tickets are assigned on a first come, first serve basis. If you are placed on a waiting list, you will be notified via Email.
  4. Applications must be completed a minimum of two weeks prior to the Final Dress Rehearsal date.
  5. There is a minimum of 10 total tickets and a maximum of 100 total tickets allowed per application. No more than 1 chaperone per 10 students is allowed.
  6. Organizations may apply more than one performance per season; however, in the case of a waiting list, preference will be given to those who have not yet attended.
  7. Incomplete applications or applications submitted after the deadlines for each show may not be considered.
  8. Organizations that receive tickets and do not redeem them may not be allowed to apply again.
  9. Organizations understand that they may only order tickets for, and distribute those tickets to, students within their school/organization and their accompanying chaperones, and that they may not use their credentials to order tickets for any other entity. Misuse of this policy will result in eligibility for Final Dress Rehearsal program being revoked.
