Kristin is thrilled to be making her Alliance Theatre debut. Her Atlanta Opera debut was during the 1998-99 season, in the chorus as well as in the role of Little Red with the Atlanta Opera Studio. Kristin received the 2017 Suzi Bass Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Francesca in Bridges of Madison County at Aurora Theatre. Other Aurora credits include Donna in Mamma Mia!,lnto the Woods, and Christmas Canteen. Kristin appeared as Anne in the original cast of Christian Magby and Christian Albright’s Mother of God and provided studio vocals for the cast recording. Kristin appears on the studio recording of the original musical Darlin’ Cory, music by Kristian Bush, who also produced Kristin’s debut studio album, Wandering Moon. Kristin is currently working on her second studio album with her son, Van Markiton, at the helm as recording engineer and producer. She is also a private voice instructor in Atlanta. (Aug 2025)
