OPERA IN THE COMMUNITY
Interactive and educational experiences provide an opportunity for patrons and the community to explore and experience opera together, supporting the growth of Atlanta’s arts community and that of Georgia.

Opera 101 is held at The Atlanta Opera Center. FREE, but reservations are required. E-mail education@atlantaopera.org or call 404-881-8883 to reserve.
Pre-Opera Talks are held one hour prior to each performance inside the John A. Williams Theatre at the Cobb Energy Centre and provide opera attendees a free sneak peek into the opera they are about to see. FREE to ticketholders.
On January 25th and 26th, The Atlanta Opera presented the hugely successful third annual 24-Hour Opera Project, in which composers, lyricists, stage directors and opera singers from all over came together to create opera in just 24 hours!
